Cannabis Trivia and Knowledge in Auburn, WA
Evergreen Market is teaming up with The Spunky Monkey Bar & Grill in downtown Auburn (across the street from Safeway) to bring a night of cannabis knowledge and 420 trivia to Auburn, WA!
This coming Monday, November 19th, at 6 p.m. a few of our Evergreen Market educators (Mike Rhode, Elan Gratrix, Wacheke) will be forming a panel, lead by the Market’s own Jason Ardelean, to discuss cannabis! Specifically we will be opening up with topics that include cannabis wellness, need to know cannabis laws, and the evolving stoner stereotype. The panel will conclude with a Q&A for anybody who has specific questions they would like to ask, in case there’s anything we missed.
Following our panel discussion the Spunky Monkey’s regularly scheduled trivia night is being taken over by cannabis trivia! The questions for the evening will be cannabis trivia themed and the prize is something that hasn’t been offered before! The first place team will have the choice to tour the cannabis grow of 1937 farms in Duvall or their processing facility located right in Auburn!
The Conversation of Legalization Through Education
Donel Brinkman, owner of The Spunky Monkey, believes in the normalization of weed. Being pro-cannabis was a no-brainer especially since discovering the help it provided for a close family member. I met Donel some years ago after getting into the cannabis industry and it was clear that she had an understanding of where the real power within cannabis comes from. Just like we believe, cannabis is so much more than smoking a bowl and killing a bag of Doritos.
There’s nothing wrong with enjoying getting high, but the need to end the prohibition of cannabis is urgent for people who can’t sleep, can’t deal with their anxiety or depression, have chronic pain, have seizures, have cancer. Getting high is great, (and by no means does cannabis solve every health problem, that’s not what we’re saying) but if cannabis were legal federally it could be life changing for people suffering when they don’t have to.
The Spunky Monkey and Evergreen Market agree that the first step towards progress begins with education.
Grab a 4-6 member team and join us for a fun evening of cannabis knowledge and cannabis trivia. Maybe even walk away with that sweet first place grow tour prize! (Thanks again, 1937 Farms!)
